Ciao a tutti!

La collana che vi mostro oggi l'ho chiamata Egeo perchè mi ricorda i colori della Grecia. La pietra incastonata è un'agata blu. Era una pietra irregolare forata per lungo, ma ho voluto utilizzarla come se fosse un cabochon e incastonarla con la tecnica bead embroidery.

Per l'incastonatura ho utilizzato le rocailles 11/0 e 15/0 Metallic Cosmos della Toho e delle rocailles 15/0 argentate.

Hi everybody!
Today I show you a necklace I called Egeo ("Aegean Sea") because it reminds me the colours of Greece. The bezeled stone is a blue agate. It was irregular and long-drilled, but I wanted to use it as it were a cabochon and bezel it with bead embroidery technique.
For bezeling I used Toho 11/0 and 15/0 Metallic Cosmos rocailles and silver 15/0 rocailles. 

 

All'esterno ho messo delle perle in metallo e di nuovo le Cosmos 11/0.

On the outside I put some metal beads and Cosmos 11/0 again.

 

Infine ho rifinito sul retro con dell'Ultrasuede blu.

Finally, I finished on the back with blue Ultrasuede.

Orecchini

Ciao a tutti!
Volevo mostrarmi due paia di orecchini che ho realizzato parecchio tempo fa.

Hy everybody!
I want to show you two pair of earrings I realized a long time ago. 

I primi sono due occhi di tigre incastonati a peyote con perline Delica Miyuki marroni e oro e rocailles 15/0 marroni, abbelliti con dei picots.

The first ones are two tiger's eye stones bezeled with peyote stitch with brown and gold Miyuki Delica seed beads and brown 15/0 rocailles, embellished with picots.

 

Per i secondi ho realizzato un tubolare Herringbone con Delica nere che ho poi cucito su se stesso e unito a delle perle azzurre.

For the second ones I realized a tubular Herringbone with black Delica seed beads, which I sew on itself and join to blue beads.

E.nigma: dove il punto non è un vezzo

Salve a tutti!
Sono Angelica, ho 24 anni e creo gioielli con perline, pietre dure e cristalli.
Apro questo blog per condividere con voi le mie creazioni e le mie esperienze.
Il nome E.nigma è un chiaro riferimento ai fumetti di Batman, di cui sono appassionata, e in particolar modo all'Enigmista, il cui nome, Edward Nigma, abbreviato diventa appunto E.nigma.
Ho scelto questo nome perchè le prime creazioni ideate da me sono state un ciondolo e un orecchino a forma di punto interrogativo verde chiaramente ispirate al personaggio.

I'm Angelica, I'm 24 and I make jewels with seed beads, semi-precious stones and crystals.
I start this blog to share with you my creations and my experiences.
The name E.nigma is a clear reference to Batman comics, which I love, and specifically to the Riddler, Edward Nigma, whose abbreviated name is E.nigma.
I chose this name because the first creations I designed were a pendant and an earring with the shape of a green question mark, obviously inspired by the character.

Questo è il ciondolo realizzato con rocailles Gütermann 9/0.
  
This is the pendant realized with Gütermann 9/0 seed beads.

Questo è l'orecchino realizzato con rocailles Miyuki 15/0.
Entrambe le creazioni sono delle spirali Herringbone, al cui interno ho messo del filo metallico.
  
This is the earring realized with Miyuki rocailles 15/0.
Both creations are Herringbone spirals with a wire within.
